1. Establish a fitness goal.
2. Get a nutrition plan.
3. Get a workout plan.
4. Purchase a journal or print trackers online to keep track of your diet and workouts.
5. Hire a trainer for guidance and motivation(If you don't know what to do).
6. If you can't afford a trainer, partner up with someone who works out, so that they can guide and motivate you.
7. Protein, water, and sleep are your new best friends.
8. Ask questions at the gym when the person you want to ask is done with their workout.
9. Protein must be consumed after every workout.
10. The gym is not a social spot, so talk less and work more.

The simplest way to translate the muscle gain concept is to "Work hard and Eat More". All you have to do is consume more calories than you burn daily, and lift medium to heavy weights following a low repetition regime.

The weight loss concept is to Work hard and Eat less, that way you can burn more calories than you consume. when it comes to weight loss, there is little to no need for weight lifting, weight loss is all about the cardio. Cardio: Exercises that raise your heart rate.

Pumping Iron

Pumping Iron is a 1977 documentary film about the run-up to the 1975 Mr. Olympia bodybuilding competition. The film focuses on Arnold Schwarzenegger and his competitors, Lou Ferrigno and Franco Columbu. The documentary was co-directed by Robert Fiore and George Butler. It was based on the book of the same name by Charles Gaines and George Butler (Simon and Schuster, 1974). Pumping Iron is a movie documenting what is commonly referred to as "The Golden Age" of bodybuilding, a time when mass and size mattered less, and symmetry and definition of the body was preferred. The documentary follows the two main bodybuilding competitions, the IFBB Mr. Universe (for amateurs) and the Mr. Olympia (for professionals) in Pretoria, South Africa.
